Wine region Carnuntum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Archaeologists have been unearthing evidence of Roman culture from the historic soil of Carnuntum for many years. But equally amazing are the “treasures of the soil” from the approximately 910 hectares of vineyards, first and foremost red wines typical of the area. As “Rubin Carnuntum” with the symbol of the Heidentor, they reinforce the identity of this emerging area, carried by a number of dynamic winegrowing personalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das pannonische Klima mit seinen hei\u00dfen Sommern und kalten Wintern, die N\u00e4he zur Donau und auch der auf die Temperatur ausgleichend wirkende Neusiedler See lassen die blauen Trauben voll ausreifen. Dieses nat\u00fcrliche Potenzial wusste die junge Winzergeneration zu nutzen und f\u00fchrte das Gebiet innerhalb kurzer Zeit an die Spitze: mit harmonischen Rotweinen, die Frucht und Eleganz vereinen. Modern in der Stilistik, aber eigenst\u00e4ndig und der Herkunft verpflichtet. Bei alldem soll nicht vergessen werden, dass auch Wei\u00dfweine \u2013 speziell Gr\u00fcner Veltliner, j\u00fcngst vermehrt Sauvignon Blanc und die Burgundersorten, aber auch der traditionelle Gemischte Satz \u2013 sich hier durch Struktur und Kraft auszeichnen. Ausgezeichnet ist auch die strategische Ausrichtung der Region im Tourismus, einem wesentlichen Faktor f\u00fcr den Weinabsatz. Die N\u00e4he der glanzvoll renovierten Barockschl\u00f6sser im nahen Marchfeld, der aktionsreiche Arch\u00e4ologiepark Carnuntum, der Nationalpark Donau-Auen und nicht zuletzt das Einzugsgebiet der slowakischen Hauptstadt Bratislava er\u00f6ffnen zahlreiche Chancen, Besucher und G\u00e4ste mit den Vorz\u00fcgen der Carnuntum-Weine vertraut zu machen. Weinorte wie G\u00f6ttlesbrunn, H\u00f6flein oder Prellenkirchen, bekannt auch durch zahlreiche gem\u00fctliche Buschenschankbetriebe, waren von jeher Anziehungspunkte f\u00fcr Ausfl\u00fcgler, vor allem durch die N\u00e4he zu Wien. Au\u00dferdem bekommt die Gastronomie immer mehr Aufschwung.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
