De gemiddelde opbrengst is een zeer hoge 90-100 hectoliter\/hectare. Er werd 3,9 miljoen hl uitgevoerd, vooral naar de VS (257.000 hl), Nederland (217.000 hl) en Groot-Brittanni\u00eb (173.000 hl).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het grootste wijnbouwgebied is Rheinhessen met 26.516 hectare, gevolgd door de Pfalz met 23.489 hectare en Baden met 15.815 hectare.
