Terroir: The grapes for this wine come from the Lüsswiese site, in the Podersdorf commune, directly next to the lake. It is characterised by a loose, dark sandy ground with loam and clay-laden subsoil. The immediate proximity to the lake creates ideal conditions for noble rot formation.
Maturation: gentle processing, controlled fermentation, ageing in stainless steel tank, batonnage
Wine: light bright yellow; intensive, complex fruity “Muskat” nose with with fine botrytis component with honey and lychee accents, very smooth and balanced on the palate, with a long fruit resonance and a lively acidity
