The grapes for this wine come from the Edelgrund site, a site on the Heideboden, which has been part of the Gols municipality since the early 16th century and is known as “Edelmannische Gründe”. Characteristic are the warm, permeable gravel-black earth soils, which are ideal for the Blaufränkisch variety
