Winery TSCHERMONEGG, Gamlitz
The highest located winery on the South Styrian Wine Road captivates not only by a dreamlike panorama, but especially by its aromatic, expressive as well as clean vinified wines.
For five generations, the heart of the Tschermonegg family has been beating for wine. Since 2018, Franz-Josef, the elder of the two sons, has also joined the team and is largely responsible for the future success of the winery.
Work on the steep and sun-drenched vineyards as well as in the cellar is done in a resource-saving manner and with many waivers, so that the ecological footprint is kept as small as possible. Tschermonegg is also one of the first wineries in Styria to have obtained the sustainability certificate.
The soils and climatic conditions are very diverse. According to the pyramid of origin, regional, local and estate wines are distinguished, which are also always highly rated and highlighted by various national and international challenges and wine journalists. A modernly equipped press house and cellar facility makes it possible to optimally combine traditional ideas and many years of experience with technical know-how.
In the winery itself, you can also enjoy the exquisite wines under the concept of “living with wine” in conjunction with excellent regional delicacies in the attached Buschenschank and the gourmet rooms with panoramic pool in the middle of the vineyards.
