Erwin Sabathi from Pössnitz in Leutschach is one of a small group of winemakers who have made their way from up-and-comers to the ranks of Austria’s top winemakers. The respective vintage is his personal statement to it. In recent years, he has also been able to reap laurels internationally with top rankings in ratings.
With innovations Erwin Sabathi always shows off, he is constantly working on innovations with his family team, first and foremost his brothers Gerd and Christoph.
The siblings Erwin, Gerd and Christoph Sabathi form a unit in the vineyard, in the vinification as well as in representations like the wines of Erwin Sabathi – independent, unmistakable wines characterized by varietal typicity for the pleasure, just wines for today and tomorrow.
