The new composition Opera translated means “work”. The perfectly matched ensemble of Blaufränkisch and Merlot makes our Opera a true speciality.
This cuvée consists of 60% Blaufränkisch and 40% Merlot. The selectively hand-harvested grapes are fermented spontaneously on the skins for 24 days and then aged for 18 months in new 500-liter oak barrels.
Blaufränkisch sets the tone in this cuvée, Merlot rounds out the picture with spicy notes and dark fruit.
